Students evaluated their home workspace, and went through the Design Thinking process to create their own ergonomic cardboard stand up desks.

Part 1: Re-Design your workspace!

  1. Watch the video

  2. Take 3 different photos of you in 3 different work spaces or positions, make sure that you take a side profile photo

  3. Add those photos to the Seesaw template

  4. Type where your photos were taken

Part 2: Time to make your stand up desk!

  1. Listen to the instructions in the example

  2. Follow the steps in your template

  3. With a ruler measure your the width and length of your computer

  4. Put your wrist, elbow and shoulders at a right angle - Measure the distance from your wrist to your desk while standing up

  5. Brainstorm and draw your designs for your stand-up desk

  6. Start Making! - take photos of your process

  7. Take a photo of your final product and any details that makes your desk yours, record your description

  8. Take a before and after photo
